LaxNW Boys' Rippers Summer 2011: Tryouts are Free! Click Register and the "pay later" option
This summer, Lacrosse Northwest will be hosting tryouts during the first two weeks of Summer League for our LaxNW Boys' Rippers High School travel team. Players trying out for the Rippers are required to register for a summer club team and will be traveling to the "College Prep Lax Showcase 2011" in Seattle, WA.In addition to the summer tournament described below, the LaxNW Select High School teams will travel to an additional tournament in the fall. Please bear with us as we work out these details.
Tryouts are free for the Rippers. To register yourself or your player for the select team tryout roster, click the link for the travel team. Summer Tournament Information
Lacrosse Northwest's Cost per player is $525.00 and includes all expenses!
* Travel Team tournament at University of Washington: MCLA Pacific Northwest Lacrosse Recruiting Showcase July 29-31 (Daily Camp Schedule). For a list of the MCLA coaches who will be in attendance, please click here.
* Practices Tuesday evenings at Hillsboro Stadium at 2 hours per practice. Practices are lead by coach Paul Voas (head coach Southridge High School), Dan Bargholz (Jesuit), and Kyle Virding (Wilsonville). Coaches will also travel with the players to the camp.
* Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend the camp, however, have no responsibility for the team/players. We will take care of everything.
* All travel expenses including transportation, dormitory, and meal plan expenses.
* Total cost = $525 (includes $180.00 recruiting camp fee, $150 dormitory/food expense, coaches’ compensation, uniform/t-shirt, and transportation)
* Contact our office at 503-295-7774 regarding financial scholarship opportunities. Don't miss out on playing due to economic hard times. We give one player in every program a scholarship according to the player's needs.
