Early Bird Registration ends June 8. All leagues will increase $10 after June 8.
This league is for adult men's players over 35 years of age. The play is physical but slower-paced than intermediate or open play leagues. Players must have 3 years of playing experience to register for this league. If you are looking to learn please check out our Men's Novice program. Games have 10 players per side. League Registration is $115.00 for early registration and $125.00 after the early registration deadline. Registeration includes a Warrior tech tee which will be used as a jersey. Where: 53rd Avenue Fields in Hillsboro
All games will be officiated by a certified official.
Schedule: Game times will be at 7:15pm and 8:30pm Tuesday evenings (depending on when your team plays). The league begins June 17 and runs for 8 weeks.
Please note we will follow the USLacrosse rules Level B:
Level B: Includes 36 and Older (Suggest 5-year Groupings—36 to 40 and 41 to 45)
Restricted body checking:
1. No body checks on a defenseless player.
2. No Excessive Body Checks (“Takeout Checks”) are permitted. Excessive Body Checks/“Takeout Checks” include, but are not limited to, contact such as the following: Any body checks considered more aggressive or more physical than necessary to stop the advancement of the player carrying the ball or to keep or move a player away from a loose ball. This includes but is not limited to:
(i) any check in which a player makes contact with sufficient force and perceived intent to knock down the opposing player;
(ii) any check in which a player makes contact with sufficient force and perceived intent to injure the opposing player; and
(iii) any check made in a reckless or intimidating manner.
Similar to the LXMPRO tour, we will be hosting a summer series of games between Team Brine and Team Warrior to determine the ultimate champion. These games will take place at 7:15pm each week, followed by another game where teams will be mixed up and sticks will be tossed in the middle to determine lineups for the night cap.
Goalies have not been assigned to teams so that they may rotate playing time (as they have done with our indoor leagues for years).
