Lacrosse Northwest has partnered with Portland State University's coaching staff to offer club teams to high school boys similar to what Lacrosse NW has successfully been doing with HS girls for the last four years. The first of these teams will be coached by the entire Portland State coaching staff and will compete at the U18 Level at the Space Needle Shootout in Seattle November 30-December 2, 2012.Portland State head coach Dave Sanford was excited to add this team on many different levels. He commented, "There are more kids in Portland playing at the skill level to participate in these tournaments than there have traditionally been opportunities for. Part of the mission of Portland State Lacrosse is to provide the community with learning opportunities and exposure to the sport of lacrosse, to help our program and local programs grow and develop . It is our hope that these programs will see more local players not only coming to play at Portland State, but spreading the name of Oregon lacrosse at all levels of college play.
On the partnership with LaxNW he added, "Lacrosse Northwest has been a leader in competitive and instructional lacrosse opportunities for boys and men in Portland, OR for well over a decade. It is with great pride that our coaching staff is excited to help LaxNW represent Oregon Lacrosse on the club level."

Tryout Details
When: November 10, 2012
Time: 4pm-6pm
Location: Horizon Christian School
Click Blue Register Button to register for the tryouts.
What to bring:
* All players must wear a Lacrosse Norhwest pinnie. Players who do not have a Lacrosse Northwest pinnie may borrow one. Jerseys are also available for $15 purchase and may be worn in all of our leagues (required).
* A check for $375 must be made out to Lacrosse Northwest and is due at tryouts. If a player does not make the team, we will shred the check.
* Water bottle.
* Cleats or turf shoes
* LaxNW Fillable Registration/Liability Form found in our download section to the right of the home page. Please complete, print, and bring to the try-out.
