Girls' Club Select Travel Teams

Rosters have been posted for the Green and Black Rippers' teams.

Green and Black team alternates will practice with the Black team.  In the event a Green/Black player is unable to travel, an alternate player with the same position will be selected to travel with that team.

Practices at Lakeridge HS:  Wednesdays, 6:00-8:00 July 6-July 27

The following are the teams we will be bringing to the Summer 2011 Cascade Cup Tournament in Snohomish, Washington July 29:

LaxNW Rippers XTreme '11 Team

LaxNW Rippers High School A Team (Entering 2011:9-12)

LaxNW Rippers High School B Team (Entering 2011:9-12)

In addition to the summer tournament described below, the LaxNW Select High School teams will travel to Palm Springs January 13 for the 2012 Sandstorm Tournament.  This tournament has grown considerably over the last few years, has impressive competition, and is a great recruiting tournament for those striving to play at the collegiate level. Cost for Fall 2011/Winter 2012 practices and tournament travel expenses:  $850.00

Summer Tournament Information

• 4th Annual Cascade Cup Tournament in Snohomish, Washington.
  
  
• July 30 & July 31 (Potential to play Friday, July 29 so prepare to stay overnight Friday and Saturday).
  

Cost per player is $300.00 and includes the following:

*  Practices Wednesday evenings at Lakeridge High School at 2 hours per practice.  These practices are in addition to the eight weeks of summer club practice, competitive games, and summer end tournament June 20 - August 17 (under seperate registration).

*  Tournament Fee

*  Four full length games in pool play plus playoff rounds and crowning the champion at each division.

*  LaxNW Club Select uniform and LaxNW T-Shirt

*  All travel expenses paid including transportation and hotel (some food excluded)

*  Coaching staff's compensation.

*  $25.00 Lacrosse Northwest processing fee.

Selection Process

• Players will be observed by coaches during Summer League Monday nights June 20 and June 27. Additional tryouts will be held Wednesday, June 22 & 29.  Rosters (Green & Black Teams) will be posted Tuesday, June 30.  The first practice will be Wednesday, July 6.
  
  
• Rosters of the players chosen for the LaxNW Summer 2011 Club Select travel teams will be posted on our Website Tuesday, June 30.  In addition, we will send an e-mail to all participants in our summer club program announcing our travel team.  Be sure your user account and player profile includes the e-mail addresses you would like us to send e-mails to.
  
  
• Lacrosse Northwest will also include an alternate list for the Green Team from the Black team roster.  In the event a Green Team player is unable to travel to a tournament, we will select a Black team alternate who fits that player position to move to the Green Team.

LaxNW Lady Rippers' HS (Green/A Team) - Snohomish

The LaxNW Girls' High School Club Select A Team will be comprised of the top players trying out for the travel team from our six Summer '11 Club Teams.   Players trying out for the Rippers are required to register for a Summer club team.

Our coaches will select players who have excelled over the course of the first two weeks of summer league, giving them aprroximately 10 hours to see each girl play.

Players include entering 9th - 12th grade players for the 2011/2012 school year.

Participants do not need to pay for the tryout or the tournament.  Payment for the tournament is not required until rosters are posted.  If you would like to register and delay tournament payment, click the "Pay Later" option during the registration process.

LaxNW Lady Rippers' HS (Black/B Team)

The LaxNW Girls' High School Club Select Black/B Team will be comprised of players trying out for the travel team from our six Summer '11 Club Teams.  Players who do not meet the qualifications for the Green/A team, will be placed on the Black team roster. Traditionally, our Black Team has been competitive with varsity and rising varsity players.

Participants do not need to pay for the tryout or the tournament.  Payment for the tournament is not required until rosters are posted.  If you would like to register and delay tournament payment, click the "Pay Later" option during the registration process.

LaxNW Lady Rippers' Xtreme '11 Team

Our Rippers Xtreme '11 Team is comprised of our graduating class 2011 Rippers players and a select group of seniors added to fill our roster of 16.  This team is going to rock the Cascade cup but not before we see how our green team shows against them in a competitive game with certified officials.

Cost for Rippers Xtreme is $220.00.  Please do not register for this team unless you have been invited by Lacrosse Northwest.
